O R D E R
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records in C.C.No.259 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Kovilpatti and quash the same.
2. Though notice has been sent to the second respondent, she has not turned up.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e.,20.01.2022), the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that 8 witnesses have been examined and cross examined and the case is pending for examination of Investigating Officer. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and dispose the case within the time stipulated by this Court.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19460 of 2019 4.Considering the above facts and circumstances and also the fact that the trial is going to be completed, by examining the Investigation Officer and taking note of the limited prayer now sought for, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Kovilpatti, to complete the trial and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
