This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to implicate the Automobile Engineering as one of the U.G. subject in the column specified for filing up, in the online application format provided by the second respondent, for the recruitment of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges notified vide Notification No.06/17, dated 28.07.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the Notification No.06/17, dated 28.07.2017 itself is quashed.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
