O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the properties at Melaradhaveethi, Vasudevanallur, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District by considering the petitioner's representations, dated 01.09.2023, 18.10.2023 and 14.10.2024.

2. The petitioner acquired the property in Melaradhaveethi, Vasudevanallur, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District under gift deed vide Document No.1229/2021. The petitioner was not issued patta for the said property. Therefore, he made an application to the respondents on 01.09.2023, for grant of patta. The petitioner thereafter submitted further applications on 18.10.2023 and 02.09.2024 for the same purpose. The first respondent on 10.10.2024 2/5

directed the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and inform the details to the petitioner. Inspite of the first respondent's communication, the second respondent office did not take any further action. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation to the fourth respondent on 11.10.2024, for granting patta. As no steps were taken by the respondents inspite of the repeated representations of the petitioner, the petitioner filed the writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though a large relief is claimed in the writ petition, it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 01.09.2023, 18.10.2023 and 14.10.2024 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the aforesaid representations of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
