Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take immediate action in petitioner's representation / complaint dated 01.09.2025 and 08.09.2025 against the illegal activities of the respondents 4 to 8 from constructing the new structure of the temple, namely, Sri Veeran Karuppan Swamy Kovil, Kalmanthai, Udamyampatti, Thumbaipatti Post, Melur Taluk, Madurai District without obtaining the proper revenue records within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner wants action to be taken against the private respondents herein for constructing a temple without getting prior permission.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the jurisdictional Tahsildar clarified that only some repair works are being undertaken and that no new temple is being constructed. It is the petitioner who is demanding the conferment of special honors.

4.I am satisfied that the activities that are presently going on are not illegal and that they do not require any prior approval of the first respondent. If the petitioner's rights are infringed, it is open to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition or move the concerned authority for appropriate relief.

5.With the aforesaid liberty to the writ petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
