ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition as against the order dated 04.04.2016 passed by the respondent, rejecting the request of the petitioner to use the land in S.No.47/2C as burial ground.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that as against the impugned order, the petitioner is having an appeal remedy before the Assistant Director (Panchayats) under Rule 5(4) of the Tamil Nadu Village Panchayats (Provision of burial and burning grounds) Rules, 1999.
3. In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the concerned Assistant Director (Panchayats), within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
