This criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking to quash the show cause notice issued under Section 111 of Cr.P.C in M.C.No.14 of 2010 by the Sub Divisional Magistrate and Revenue Divisional Officer, Cheranmahadevi. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the said show cause notice was issued on 29.12.2010 and the period mentioned in the said notice is only six months and the same came to an end long back. Hence, nothing survives in this petition. The said statement is recorded.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
