ORDER

Challenging the rejection order passed by the respondent dated 25.07.2019, to provide electricity connection to the writ petitioner's temple, namely, Arulmigu Ammachiyar Amman Temple in Survey No. 609 situated in S.Kodikulam Town Panchayat, Koomapatti, Virudhunagar District, this writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and carefully perused the entire materials available on record.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the aforesaid Temple is situated in water body, in view of the same, the writ petitioner's application was rejected.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
