[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.] The petitioner has filed the above writ petition seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to forbear the construction and establishment of TASMAC shop nearby Ram https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.27099 of 2019 Nagar Bus Stop, Kongu Arts and Science College, Bharani Park School, Residential houses and Ramar Kovil in Ram Nagar, Salem Bye-pass Road, Karur and to stop reopening of a TASMAC shop which was already closed, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2019.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the second respondent has no proposal to set up any new TASMAC shop in the places mentioned in the writ petition or to reopen a TASMAC shop which was already closed. The learned Counsel for the second respondent also produced a copy of the communication dated 21.12.2019 sent by the second respondent to him.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the said communication of the second respondent, dated 21.12.2019, the writ petition may be closed.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Counsel on either side, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is also closed.
