the petitioners favour in light of the order dated 18.02.2025 passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

By relying on a sale deed dated 15.12.1997 and the Town Survey Land Register in respect of survey No.223/2, the petitioner seeks a survey in respect of 31 cents in the above mentioned survey number.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He points out that the total extent of the land is 2.31 acres. Therefore, he submits that the persons whose names are mentioned in the Town Survey Land Register should be put on notice before a decision is taken.

3. In view of the above submissions, without making any observation on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing 2/4

the second respondent to consider the petitioner's request for a survey and issuance of a patta after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other persons whose names are entered in the Town Survey Land Register. This exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. W.M.P.(MD) No.19688 of 2025 is allowed.
