The petitioner seeking permission to take water from his land in S.No.76/1 to to the land in 72/1 submitted an application to the respondents and filed this writ petition in the year 2017.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is no more and he is not in a position to contact his legal heirs. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents based on the written instructions received from the Tahsildar, Kumbakonam submits that the petitioner has already dug a bore-well in S.No.72/1 and there is no necessity for him to take water from other land in S.No.76/1. 4.Recording the above submission, this writ 2/4

petition is closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
