PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondent for the deliberate and willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 14.11.2017 made in W.P.(MD)No.20936 of 2017.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner dated 24.02.2017 and 07.03.2017 relating to issue patta to the petitioners landed property situated at SF.No.76, Plot No.1818, Sri Gangai Nagar, Poiyakaraipatti Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai to an extent of 1200 Sq.Ft. and SF.No.162/4B, Plot No.5 and 6, Arumbanur Pudur (Bit-2) Village, Y.Othakkadai, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai to an extent of 1856 Sq.Ft. For petitioner : Mr.S.Mohamed Kadhar For Respondent : Mrs.J.Padmavathi Devi, Special Government Pleader.

ORDER

This Court earlier passed an order in W.P.(MD)No.20936 of 2017 dated 14.11.2017 directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.02.2017 and 07.03.2017. Since no order has been passed, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

2.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already the representation of the petitioner has been considered by the respondent and order has been passed in his proceedings in e.f.vz;. 5470/2017 dated 28.02.2018.

3.In view of the above submission that the order has been complied by the respondent, this Contempt Petition is closed. If the petitioner has any grievance over the order passed by the respondent, it is always open to the petitioner to proceed further in the manner known to law.
