PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.3 to revoke the suspension order dated 15.03.2025 and consequently direct the respondents to disburse the 1/5

O R D E R
The petitioner, a Village Assistant of Senkeerai Village, Thirumayam Taluk has approached this Court that he was placed under suspension on 15.03.2025 on certain allegations, however, he has not been paid with any subsistence allowance for the suspension period.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this petitioner has been suspended on 15.03.2025, based on the complaint lodged by his father due to domestic problem. Though he was suspended in the month of March-2025, the order of suspension has not been reviewed after a period of six months. 2/5
Therefore, the learned counsel submits that the suspension order needs to be reviewed and the petitioner has to be paid with the subsistence allowance.
3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the subsistence allowance due to the petitioner has already been paid. He also admits that the charge memo is yet to be served on the petitioner.
4.This Court considered the rival submissions made and also perused the materials placed on record.
5.It appears that this petitioner is having some issues with his father and therefore, this petitioner's father has lodged a complaint as against him. Since it is reported that there was a domestic quarrel between the petitioner and his father and that the charge memo has not been issued to the petitioner so far, the Tahsildar/the third respondent herein shall review the suspension 3/5
order of this petitioner and pass suitable orders as to whether continuation of suspension is required, by considering the circumstances of the case. This petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
