ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 3rd respondent dated 06.08.2025 for cancelling the petitioners application No. 200061660725188 for electricity service connection to the house Old No. 266, New No. 270, in S.No. 82/41 Situated at Old Street, Vadakku Thuvaravayal Odukkur Post, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary and in consequences thereof direct the 3rd respondent to give electricity service connection to the petitioner house at once.

2. In a similar matter in W.P(MD).Nos.19188 to 19193 of 2016, this Court was pleased to grant electricity connection with certain directions. The same enures to the facts of this case and therefore, this writ petition stands disposed of with the following directions:- a) The petitioner shall execute an affidavit within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order before the second respondent herein, to the effect that he will vacate the property, if the assignment order is cancelled.
b) On filing of such an affidavit, the second respondent shall issue No Objection Certificate in favour of the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the affidavit. c) On the issuance of No Objection Certificate, the 3rd respondent shall effect electricity connection within a period of two weeks therefrom. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 24.09.2025 NCC :yes/No Index :yes/No Internet:yes/No rgm 3/4
