: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the third respondent vide his proceedings in Na.ka.No.68/Aa/2015, dated 26.07.2017 and quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the respondents 2 and 3 herein to waive the payment of lease amount in 1/4

respect of lease granted in the petitioner's favour for fishing rights at "Vadakku Patchaiyaru Dam" Tirunelveli District for the lease period commencing from 31.03.2017 to 30.03.2018 and for other reliefs. O R D E R

This Writ Petition is directed against the impugned order passed by the third respondent vide his proceedings in Na.ka.No.68/Aa/2015, dated 26.07.2017 and consequently, direct the respondents 2 and 3 herein to waive the payment of lease amount in respect of lease granted in the petitioner's favour for fishing rights at "Vadakku Patchaiyaru Dam" Tirunelveli District for the lease period commencing from 31.03.2017 to 30.03.2018 and for other reliefs.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the waiver was claimed for the period between 31.03.2017 to 30.03.2018 and that since 2/4

the amount was paid, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
