ORDER

This Contempt Petition is filed alleging that the third respondent, by ignoring the stay order dated 26.08.2013 passed by this Court in M.P.(MD)No.1 of 2013 in W.P.(MD)No.14209 of 2013, has issued a 1/3

further demand notice dated 05.02.2018 demanding the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.38,44,552/- as lease arrears with a rider that if not paid, necessary action would be initiated against him under Revenue Recovery Act.

2. When this Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, it is reported that the main writ petition filed by the petitioner in W.P. (MD)No.14209 of 2013 was dismissed and therefore, the earlier order dated 26.08.2013 in M.P.(MD)No.1 of 2013 is merged with the subsequent order.

3. In view of the subsequent development, the Contempt Petition is closed.
