This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records pertaining to the impugned FIR in Crime No.39 of 2019 dated 30.11.2019 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same as against the petitioners.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has laid the final report dated 23.12.2022 before the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Land Grabbing Cases-II, Tirunelveli. 2/4

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
