ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter has now become infructuous, since the petitioner has been promoted subsequent to filing of this writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Incase the monetary benefits have not been paid to the petitioner, liberty is granted to the petitioner to seek for the same in the manner known to the petitioner under law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
