O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct Anitha Parthiban 1/3

Trophy, All India Level Badminton Tournament scheduled on 21st, 22nd & 23rd of February 2020, at Aya Sports and Family Club, Thanjavur based on the petitioner's representation, dated 03.12.2019 and 16.12.2019, within a stipulated period fixed by this Court. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he is giving up the respondents-1 to 3 and no relief is sought for against them.

3. Though the instant writ petition has been filed for larger relief, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondent-4, to consider the representation of the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (crl. Side) would submit that based on the representations given by the petitioner, proceedings have been initiated by the fourth respondent and appropriate steps will be taken.

5. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner case, this Court directs the fourth respondent police to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 03.12.2019 & 16.12.2019 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass necessary orders.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 25.11.2019 and 11.12.2019 and pass appropriate order.

7. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
