Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation preferred by the Petitioner dated 30.08.2016 seeking revision of pension and for payment of arrears of pension, within the time that may be stipulated by this Hon ble Court. ORDER
The petitioner filed a writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.18001 of 2016 seeking for the issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2016, seeking revision of pension of her husband, who was working as a Professor in a College and for payment of arrears of pension.
2. This Court, vide order dated 22.09.2016, directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2016, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.10G Higher Education H1 Department, dated 14.05.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Since the said order has been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

Cont.P.(MD)No.389 of 2018 22.09.2016, the respondent, vide its communication in Na.Ka.No.13061/2016/K2, dated 04.03.2020, informed that since the petitioner has not produced the details of pension, they are not in a position to revise the pension and further, the Principal of the College has also rejected the request of the petitioner.
4. In view of the above, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
