O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the third respondent to permit the writ petitioner to run his licensed petty shop No. 359/2012 situated at near and in front of Mattuthavani Flower Market, Madurai by considering his representation dated 17.07.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 would submit that the shop in dispute was removed while widening the road. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner is running the shop on the backside of the shop, which was run by him earlier.

3. It is not in dispute that though the writ petitioner has given a renewal application on 17.07.2017, the same is not yet disposed of.

4. Considering the limited prayer now sought for, without entering into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the writ petitioner's application dated 17.07.2017 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law.
