This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to regularize the petitioner's service, as cook in the Koodal Azhagar Perumal Kovil, Madurai, based on the G.O(Ms)No.44, dated 05.02.2015 and consequently, direct the respondents to provide all the monetary benefits attach with the petitioner's service from 12.08.2014.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as Cook in the Chief Minister Annathana Scheme at Arulmigu Koodalazhagar Thirukovil, Madurai. Pursuant to which, the petitioner was appointed as daily wage of Rs.200/-. Though the petitioner was appointed in the year 2002, his service was not regularized till 2017. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation on 15.04.2017 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.15664 of 2017 to the respondents for regularization of his service. So far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition is filed. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2017 in accordance with law.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 has no serious objection for considering the petitioner's representation.
5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent concerned to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 15.04.2017, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.44, dated 05.02.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not disposed of already. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
