This Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, praying this Court to punish the respondent herein for committing contempt and wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Honourable Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1548 of 2018 dated 01.02.2018 and of non compliance.

Prayer in CRL OP(MD). 1548/ 2018 :

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No. 451/2013 within a time period stipulated by this Court.

Cont.P.(MD).No.1389 of 2018 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that as per direction of this Court, respondent police filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.383 of 2018. 3.In view of the above, there is no willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court. Hence, this contempt petition is closed.
