...Contemnor/Respondent PRAYER : Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnor/respondent and punish him for willful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.2828 of 2018, dated 20.02.2018. Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 2nd Respondent dated 18.11.2017 vide his proceedings Na.ka.No.A4/51408/2013 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the Respondents No.1 and 2 herein to appoint the petitioner as a Tamilnadu Special Police Youth Brigade 2013-2014.

O R D E R

The petitioner was disqualified for being appointed as a Police Constable Grade-II. He filed W.P.(MD)No.2828 of 2018. This Court quashed the impugned order and remitted the matter to the file of the Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli District. Following remand, the Superintendent of Police passed a fresh order of rejection.

2. This Court took the view that the order of rejection was not in consonance with the parameters laid down in more than one case by this Court. It is made clear that the respondent has not committed any act of Contempt. It is open to the petitioner to question the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

second order or rejection by filing a fresh Writ petition. Therefore, giving liberty to the petitioner to question the order dated 20.02.2018, the Contempt petition is closed.
