: Contemnors/Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for willfully disobeying and not complying with the order of this Court dated 28.01.2016 in W.P.(MD)No.71 of 2016.
Prayer in WP(MD)No. 71/ 2016 :
Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pay the petitioner Rs.3,93,890/- towards Gratuity and Rs.1,128/- towards Leave Salary and arrears of wages for the period from 01.09.13 to 30.04.15 payable pursuant new wage settlement and benefit amount payable under the Social Security Scheme and Refundable Deposits together with 18% interest per annum along with the interest amount towards the delayed payment of EPF Employees Contribution amount Rs.1,34,950/- for the period from 30.04.2015 to 23.12.2015 at the rate as per EPF Scheme and further directing the respondents to pay him Rs.1,21,145/- towards the pension commutation amount, along with arrears of pension for the period from 01.05.15 by revising his pension together with 18% interest per annum within a time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER
The learned Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the terminal benefits of the petitioner have been settled. He has also produced before this Court a calculation sheet with details of the amount disbursed to the petitioner. Though the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the amount as per statement has been settled, he expressed that still there is some discrepancy with regard to the quantum. Substantial compliance is not disputed. Hence, the Contempt Petition is closed. If for any reason the petitioner find that he is entitled to more than what was paid to him as per the calculation sheet produced before this Court, it is open to him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
