Respondents [R3 to 16 are impleaded vide Court order dated 08.09.2017 in W.M.P(MD).No.12701/2017] PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified Mandamus to call for entire records pertaining to the impugned Madurai Bar Association (MBA), Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai Election Results dated 30.06.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent and to quash the same as illegal and consequently declare the election held on 29.06.2017 as Null and Void and direct the respondents to reschedule the election and conduct a fresh election.

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice] Learned Counsel for the petitioner has very fairly stated that since the tenure of the Office bearers has already come to an end, the matter has become infructuous.

2. We have also heard Ms.J.Anandavalli, learned Counsel for the first respondent/Bar Council of Tamil Nadu, Mr.Arun Swaminathan, learned Counsel for the second respondent and Mr.G.PRabhu Rajadurai, learned Counsel for the respondents 3 to 16.

3. The writ petition is consigned as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed.
