Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2016 in the light of NCTE amendment notification F.No. 61-1/2011/NCTE/(N&S) dated 29th July, 2011. ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court, dated 11.10.2017 made in W.P(MD).No.1722 of 2017.

2..Today, when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, no one is appearing for the petitioner. However, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that, the order of this Court has been complied with and in this regard, a copy of the Government Order in G.O.(Ms).No.70, School Education (MS) Department, dated 12.04.2018 issued by the respondent/Government has been annexed along with the covering letter, dated 25.04.2018 and 07.06.2018 issued by the Director of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

School Education concerned and by citing these communications as well as the Government Order, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that, the plea of the petitioner in the said representation, which was directed to be considered, by an order of this Court, dated 11.10.2017, has to be adopted in the NCTE notification with regard to the basic qualification before writing Teacher Eligibility Test. Accordingly, the said G.O.(Ms).No.70, School Education (MS) Department, dated 12.04.2018 has since been issued, the order of this Court has been complied with. 3.Having regard to the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and having gone through the said proceedings produced before this Court, this Court feels that no further order is required to be passed in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
