: Contemnors/Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents for their wilful, deliberate, disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P. (MD).No.23780 of 2016, dated 08.12.2016.

Cont.P(MD)No.1374 of 2018 salary, dearness allowance arrears, pension, revised pension with arrears and all other attendant retirement benefits with interest at the rate of not less than 18% per annum payable from the date of retirement viz. 31.05.2014.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents herein for the wilful disobedience of the order made in W.P.(MD).No.23780 of 2016, dated 08.12.2016.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by Mr.M.Gnanagurunathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the benefits of the Provident Fund, Gratuity and Leave Salary have already been paid and the pensionary benefits has not been extended to the petitioner.

3. It is represenated by Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents that the pension papers will have to be processed and benefits will be extended to the petitioner within a period of two weeks.

4. Recording the above-said submissions, this Contempt Petition is closed.
