O R D E R This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner as per the representation made by the petitioner dated 24.11.2022. 2.Even though notice has been served upon the fourth respondent, none appears on behalf of him.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the above said representation is kept pending on the file of the third respondent, since 24.11.2022.

4.Let the above said representation be disposed of by the third respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent shall send notice to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent and enquire the matter with regard to the present situation as to whether there is a life threat to the petitioner and whether there is any requirement of granting police protection. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the third respondent shall pass orders.

5.Depending upon the orders to be passed by the third respondent, the petitioner can workout his remedy in appropriate manner. 6.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
