consequently direct the respondents to pass orders re-fixing his pay by granting increments which were withheld pursuant to the above mentioned punishment imposed on him and further directing the respondents to pay him difference amount in wages within a time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondents to reconsider and drop the punishment of increment cut for 18 months with cumulative effect imposed on the petitioner vide the order passed by the second respondent in Ref.No:TNSTC/KKD/DS-5959/FATO1/D4-304/2023, dated 28.02.2024 based on the Referred Charge Sheet of the Inspector of Police, Ramanathapuram Town Police Station taken on file in RCS No.524 of 2024 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram and consequently direct the respondents to pass orders re-fixing his pay by granting increments which were withheld pursuant to the above mentioned punishment imposed on him and further directing the 2/5

respondents to pay him difference amount in wages.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he had made a representation on 15.06.2025 seeking to reconsider the case of the petitioner based on the referred charge sheet. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.06.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
