Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to re-fix petitioners Pension by counting 50% of the petitioners part time Vocational Instructor service between 03/07/1980 to 04/10/1996 and disburse arrears of pension from 22/02/2016 onwards.

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 29.06.2018 made in W.P.(MD) No.13877 of 2018.

2.Today, when this contempt petition is taken up for disposal, Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has produced orders in Na.Ka.No.048912/V1/E3/2018 dated 17.06.2019, whereby, the request of the petitioner has been rejected.

3.By relying upon the said proceedings, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that, the orders of this Court, though belatedly, has been complied with. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, the reasons, given in the rejection order now, as been produced, cannot stand in the legal scrutiny. However, he fairly submitted that since they passed an order, the same has to be assailed by the petitioner in the manner known to law. 5.In view of the said compliance, though belatedly, been made by the respondent, this Court feel that this contempt petition cannot be proceeded further and in that view of the matter, this contempt petition is closed.
