No: Legal/Sa.1/1793/6B/19, dated 22.01.2020 based on the judgement of Hon'ble acquittal rendered by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti in C.C.No.61/2020, dated 22.07.2024 and consequently direct the respondents to pass orders re-fixing his last on pay by cancelling the aforesaid punishment and further directing the respondents to pay the petitioner difference amount in wages and terminal benefits including revised pension with arrears along with suitable rate of interest within a time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the first respondent to reconsider and drop the punishment of reducing the petitioner's basic pay by one stage with cumulative effect besides treating his suspension period from 09.01.2019 to 07.02.2019 imposed on the petitioner vide the order passed by the second respondent 2/5
in Ref. No: Legal/Sa.1/1793/6B/19, dated 22.01.2020 based on the judgement of Hon'ble acquittal rendered by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti in C.C.No.61/2020, dated 22.07.2024 and consequently direct the respondents to pass orders re-fixing his last on pay by cancelling the aforesaid punishment and further directing the respondents to pay the petitioner difference amount in wages and terminal benefits including revised pension with arrears along with suitable rate of interest.

The petitioner had approached this Court for reconsideration of the punishment that had been imposed upon him on the basis of the order of acquittal and that the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.02.2025 is pending with the first respondent, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 11.02.2025 in line with the judgment made in C.C.No.61 of 2020, dated 22.07.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
3. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
