Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the Insurance amount for the period 2009 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2016.

ORDER:- Contempt Petition coming up for hearing on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. H.Velavadhas, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. A.Muthukaruppan, Additional Government Pleader on behalf of the respondent, this Court made the following order: The petitioner's application appears to have been rejected originally on the ground that he is not even a member of the society and not entitled to the crop insurance. However, later, on the representation of the petitioner, the Deputy Director of Agriculture has stated that the petitioner's application will be considered on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CONT P(MD). No.1636 of 2018 the basis of the documents that may be adduced by the petitioner to prove his eligibility. Hence, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent with all necessary documents on 20.12.2019 and the respondent shall pass appropriate orders and report this Court by 06.01.2020.
