O R D E R

The petitioner is the husband of the detenu. The petitioner alleges that his wife has been missing since 08.10.2024. In this regard, the petitioner's mother lodged a complaint and it was registered as Crime No. 413 of 2024 on the file of the Aundipatti Police Station, Theni District. Since the detenu was not traced, the present HCP has been filed.

2. The police located the whereabouts of the detenu. We had an interaction through whatsapp video call with the detenu. The detenu informed us that she was forced to marry the petitioner herein and that she was unable to bear the situation no longer and that is why, she left the matrimonial home on her own accord. She is now at Chennai and is staying in PG accommodation. We are satisfied that the detenu is safe and that it is not a case of illegal detention. It is for the petitioner to work out his right in the manner known to law. 2/4
