Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2017 and to grant educational loan of Rs.4,74,000/- to the petitioner's daughter namely B.Sophiya within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court for completing her course of B.Sc (Nursing)in Matha College of Nursing , situating in Manamadurai, Sivagangai District.

ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 29.05.2017 and to grant educational loan of Rs.4,74,000/- to the petitioner's daughter, namely B.Sophiya, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.M.S.Jeyakarthik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.16339 of 2017 Pleader appearing for the first respondent and Mr.Pala Ramasamy, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3. 3.The petitioner, in order to get education loan, has sent an application/representation on 29.05.2017 to the respondent Bank. In this context, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Bank that, the said application/representation of the petitioner, dated 29.05.2017 would be considered by the respondent Bank and final order would be passed thereon, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

4.Considering the said submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Bank, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the respondents 2 and 3 are hereby directed to consider and pass necessary order on the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.05.2017 with regard to the plea of educational loan to the petitioner's daughter and such order shall be passed on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In this regard, it is open to the petitioner to approach the respondent Bank, pursuant to this order, with the relevant papers as required by the Bank. "

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
