ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to issue direction to the second respondent to issue non traceable certificate about missing of the petitioner's document No.399 of 2004, dated 18.03.2004 registered at the Sub-Registrar Office, Vilathikulam, Thoothukudi District, which had gone missing on 10.09.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondents police for missing of his original sale deed document bearing No.399 of 2004, dated 18.03.2004, which was registered at the Sub-Registrar Office, Vilathikulam, Thoothukudi District. He would further submit that the petitioner has also made an online compliant with regard to the missing of original document.

4. Considering the above, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and issue Non-traceable Certificate to the petitioner, after ensuring the said document has not been deposited for any purpose following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
