By relying on a settlement deed dated 18.04.2012 and patta No. 9562, the petitioner seeks a survey of the land in survey No.831/6 of an extent of 2.5 cents.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) accepts notice on behalf of respondents 3 and 4. By relying on the 'A' register, learned Additional Government Pleader points out that a 'Nilaviyal pathai' runs through the petitioner's land. Since the petitioner holds the patta in respect of the relevant land, he submits that the survey would be conducted after putting the owners of adjacent lands on notice. 2/4

In view of the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to act on the petitioner's application dated 11.06.2025 and representation dated 25.07.2025 for a survey after putting the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands on notice. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of
