.. Contemnors/Respondents Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents/contemnors for willfully disobeying the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.1896 of 2013 dated 24.11.2016.

Prayer in WP(MD)No.1896/2013 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to G.O.(Ms) No. 39 School Education (D1) Department Dated 21.03.2003 of the first respondent herein and the consequential order in A.T.Mu.No 560/A1/12 dated 15.06.2012 of the 4th respondent herein and consequently direct the respondents herein to approve the appointment of petitioner as Tailoring Teacher in the 5th respondent school from the date of appointment i.e. 3.2.2012 with all consequential benefits. ORDER

Contempt Petition(MD).No.1108 of 2018 writ petition and against the said order, the State preferred a writ appeal and the same was dismissed as against which they filed SLP before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the same was numbered and posted along with the connected SLP.30266/2019 arising out of the same issue in the case of State of Tamilnadu and others vs. A.Joy Jebamalar and another, and is pending.

2. In view of the above, this contempt petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law, after the disposal of the SLP pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
