Respondent PRAYER: Contempt petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the contemnor for his willful, wanton, deliberate disobedience and for violating the order dated 25.01.2018 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1192 of 2018. Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.139 of 2017, dated 26.03.2017 within a time stipulated by this Court and also to take further follow up action within a time to be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 25.01.2018 made in Crl.O.P. (MD) No.1192 of 2018.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that by the order dated 25.01.2018 made in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1192 of 2018, this Court directed the respondent to expedite the investigation and file the final report. Accordingly, the respondent police completed the investigation and filed final report as "Action Dropped". Cont. P (MD) No.1116 of 2018 3.Considering the said submission, this Court directs the respondent to serve RCS notice to the petitioners forthwith and on receipt of the same, the petitioners are at liberty to file a protest petition before the Court concerned in the manner known to law.
