The petitioner said to have filed an appeal before the The Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department/the first respondent in O.A.No.1 of 2022, under Section 54(1) of Tamil Nadu HR & CE Act, 1959 on 24.09.2021 and filed this writ petition for a Mandamus for an early disposal of his appeal, which is pending on the file of the first respondent.

2.Mr.P.Subba Raj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 and submits that the enquiry has already been concluded, however, they require two months time to pass the final order on the appeal filed by the petitioner in O.A.No.1 of 2022.

3.Considering the rival submissions made and also considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to conclude the proceedings within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
