ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the third respondent Bank to de-freeze the amount of Rs.46,000/- in the petitioner's IDBI Bank A/C.No. 1623102000105910, Ramanathapuram Branch, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2024.

When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the third respondent would submit that the said exercise has been done by the third respondent based on intimation received from the fifth respondent, requiring to freeze an amount of Rs.46,000/- due to the petitioner's alleged involvement in a certain cybercrime.

3. In view of the same, this Court hereby direct the third respondent Bank to de-freeze the petitioner's account by marking a lien on the said amount of Rs.46,000/- and thereafter, permit the petitioner to operate the aforesaid account.

4. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs 23.01.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No jbr 3/5
