The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to grant permission to run the petitioner's mutt, namely R.R. Mutt, situated at Arulmigu Sundaramahalinga Swamigal Thirukoil, Thaniparai, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2019. 2/5

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the entire mutt has already been taken over and is now under the control of the temple administration. Hence, according to the learned Additional Government Pleader, the relief sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
