ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 4(1)(a) & 4(1-A) of TN Prohibition 1/3

Act in Crime No.535 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 26 numbers of 180ml Brandy TASMAC liquor bottles. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is having seven previous cases. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Taking note of the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
