Prayer: To reopen the main Contempt Petition (MD) No.1547 of 2025 closed on 21.08.2025 and to punish the 4th and 5th respondents herein for the wilful disobedience to the orders passed.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.Velmurugan J.) The petitioner has filed the present sub application to reopen the contempt petition in Contempt Petition No.1547 of 2025, since this Court has closed the contempt petition based on the report filed by the official respondents.

2. Now, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the undertaking given by the official respondents to the effect that the premises in question would be locked and sealed, the contempt petition was closed. Subsequently, the premises in question was desealed, thereby, the official respondents have violated the conditions. Therefore, prays for reopen the contempt petition and to hear the contempt petition and pass orders on merits.

3. Since a prima facie case has been made out, the sub application is allowed and Contempt Petition (MD) No.1547 of 2025 is reopened. List the contempt petition on 24.10.2025.
