PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.392 of 2022 to file charge sheet in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.392 of 2022 to file the charge sheet in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police registered an FIR in Crime No.392 of 2022 and that the investigation is almost completed. Hence, he seeks three months time to complete the investigation and file a Final Report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.392 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, 2/4

within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
