Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondents to pay the petitioner Rs.4,52,400/- towards Gratuity and Rs 1,51,906/- towards Leave Salary, along with arrears of Salary for the period from 01.09.2013 to 31.06.2014 payable pursuant new wage settlement together with 18% interest per annum and further directing the respondents to pay him Rs 2,10,346/- towards the Pension Cumulation amount along with arrears of pension for the period from 01.07.2014 by reversing his pension together with 18% interest as per annum. ORDER
The learned Counsel for the respondents reported that terminal benefits with interest at 6% as per direction of this Court has already been settled to the petitioner. CONT.P.(MD).No.1752 of 2018 the petitioner is entitled to something more than what was paid to him. However, the learned Counsel for the respondent has raised objection regarding the entitlement of the petitioner beyond what has been paid as per the communication received from the Corporation.
2.In these circumstances, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law, if he is entitled to more than what has been paid to him pursuant to the order of this Court.
