Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing the 1st respondents to pay the petitioner Rs.4,96,892/- towards Gratuity and Rs.1,54,468/- towards Leave Salary, along with arrears of Salary for the period from 01.09.13 to 31.03.14 payable pursuant new wage settlement, together with 18% interest per annum and further directing the respondents to pay him Rs.2,23,204/- towards the Pension Commutation amount along with arrears of pension for the period from 01.04.14 by revising his pension, together with 18% interest per annum. ORDER
The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that substantial amount has been paid in compliance with the direction of this Court. It is further stated that some amount is still due as there are some discrepancies in the calculation while computing the amount towards terminal benefits. The petitioner can agitate the same as per law, if he is entitled to more than what he has been given pursuant to the direction of this Court. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to submit a representation or file a Writ Petition claiming any additional amount which is due according to the rules or if there is any calculation error in computation including the amount due towards interest. No costs.
