PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus to call for records in Detention Order No.68 of 2019 dated 09.11.2019 and issue a writ, order or direction, directing the respondents herein to produce the detenu Deena @ Muthu Dinesh, son of Sivaperumal, aged 20 years, who has been termed as "Goonda" and now confined in Central Prison, Madurai and set aside the same and set the detenu at liberty. [Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the mother of the detenu, namely, Deena @ Muthu Dinesh, son of Sivaperumal, aged 20 years, challenging the detention order No.68 of 2019 dated 09.11.2019, passed by the second respondent, branding him as "Goonda" as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

H.C.P.(MD) No.1360 of 2019 counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.5250, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Department, dated 16.12.2019, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked.

3. Recording the above submissions, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
