ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the entire records relating to the Impugned FIR in Crime No.1109 of 2012 dated 16/10/2012 on the file of the first respondent and to quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Authority under the Tamilnadu Protection of Interest of Depositors Act is the competent authority to investigate the case filed under Section 4 of the TNPID Act.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that the case was already transferred to Economic Offences Wing, Trichy. Further, the grounds raised in the quash petition were rejected by the Hon'ble Apex Court.

5. However, in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the accused could not seek to quash such case and they have to face trial.
