:Contemnors/Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying this Court to punish the Respondents for wilfully disobeying and not complying with the order of this Court made in W.P(MD)No.7530 of 2016, dated 20.4.2016. Prayer in WP(MD). 7530 of 2016 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to settle the Terminal Benefits such as Gratuity, Commutation and Surrender Leave Salary along with 18% interest within the stipulated period.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the Respondents would submit that the order passed in the above Writ Petition has been complied with and has also produced a communication to that effect. However, the learned counsel for the Petitioner disputes the Calculation memo submitted by the learned counsel for the Contemnor.

4.As already liberty is given to the Petitioner in paragraph 6 of the order passed in the above Writ Petition, it is open to him to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. 5.With the above observation, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
