Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant the petitioner 4th and 5th review benefits and to revise his pay in the Post of Checking Inspector with retrospective effect from 01.09.2010 in terms of Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.61 Transport (C) Department dated 30.04.2015 and as per settlement dated 22.01.2011 and further directing the respondents to pay him the difference amount in his salary and to pay the difference in his 1/3
retirement benefits including difference amount in monthly pension, gratuity, leave salary, commuted value of pension and all other attendant benefits payable to him from 01.01.2014 to till date together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum. ORDER
Alleging that the order of this Court in W.P(MD)No.5821 of 2016 dated 24.03.2016 has not been complied with, the petitioner has come up before this Court with this Contempt Petition. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the respondents/contemnors would submit that the order passed in the Writ Petition has been complied with and has also produced a communication to that effect. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the calculation memo submitted by the learned counsel for the contemnors.
3.As already liberty is given to the petitioner in paragraph No.6 of the order passed in the above Writ Petition, it is open to them to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. 4.With the above observation, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
